Learning Outcomes:
- Identify and understand key design principles that are interface-agnostic (layout, topography, colours, user-feedback, etc.)
- Understand the importance of interface consistency when integrating between multiple devices
- Demonstrate the ability to apply the skills from previous two classes
Class Breakdown:
- Short Intro (5-10 mins)
- Show 2 to 3 student project examples from previous class (25-30 mins)
- Discuss which design principles still apply and how (15-15 mins)
- Discuss different ways to keep complex integrated experiences consistent (10-15 mins)
- Time to work on personal projects with my 1 on 1 assistance / custom learning opportunity (90-110 mins)
- Wrap Up and answer any project questions (10-15 mins)

- Project A: Integrated Image Editing App for Google Glass (PDF)
- Project B: Integrated Calendar App for Sony SmartWatch2 (PDF)
- Project C: House lights, climate, & security control using EPOC Headset (PDF)
Evaluation:
- Deliverables: Revised Goals + Script / Illustrations + Storyboard + Min 2 Interface designs + User Test Script
- Worth: 10% of total course grade
- Due: Extended to Nov. 28 @ 9 AM ATL
